ACCRA, GHANA 2021
A delegation made up of three Steering Committee members of AfriPAHR was in Ghana from Wednesday 23rd June to Sunday 28th June 2021 for consultations with key stakeholders on issues of human rights with special attention to Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB).
This forms part of the network’s on-going work with the International Panel of Parliamentarians for Freedom of Religion or Belief (IPPFoRB). The Africa Centre for Parliamentary Affairs (ACEPA), based in Accra, Ghana were instrumental in organizing and executing these consultations. Overall, the visit was in line with AfriPAHR’s objective of establishing dialogue, discovering facts and collecting information aimed at promoting the right to freedom of religion or belief for all in Africa.
